I like SSD as well, but I don't know much about law, so that's your call. Personally, I'm leaning towards a band name for my band, but I don't want to be like Danleary's friend and get stuck on one name. I liked Aura, but when I pitched it to my bandmates, it didn't go over that great. Now I'm considering "The Origin of Ninja" which is weird, but I fear it will be much like our first band name, which grew to suck ass over time. Not trying to thread steal, but I would appreciate some opinions on that.

Back to the original point, Danleary, my vote is for South Saturn Delta.

Our music is a blues based bit of everything. It sounds kind of like the blues got around with a bunch 'o baby-mamas and spawned many different sounds. Honestly, that's the concern that I had. It's kind of weird and funny, but what if, by some off chance, we get anywhere with our music? It just seems childish after a while.

well, if Kurt Cobain chose to name the band poo poo bucket (or whatever it was going to be called) would the band be as big and as popular as they are?

So what you're saying is that, were we to go with a name that is childish, we may not even have any fame whatsoever, so we would prevent any embarrassment by preventing our success? Interesting thought.

you could interpret it that way, yes, but also that if you had a childish name, you wouldn't be taken seriously as artists

Dutch, name yourselves after some sort of cultural history on the city you live in... you live in Rancho Cucamonga, so maybe have a name like "The Tongva's" or "Vera Rocha", or combine the two "Vera Rocha Tongva"

NANNERPUSS! That's so weird, I was just thinking of that as a name a couple of days ago. Doesn't sound nearly as awesome if you haven't seen it though.

Indeed. Out of an "Aurora" spelling fail came "Aura" which is also quite sexy.

I know, but you MEANT to spell aurora, and it just came out as aura. I know it is a word. And I thought you were from the US, Danleary, so why are you talking crap about our education system (by which you were calling us stupid, I got that one too, btw)? That said, it is kind of suck and, for the most part, pointless after 8th grade.

You're probably just angry about your thread getting jacked, and then turned into a discussion about academics. Sorry about that.
