Two man band, can not agree upon a name.

Here are some of our suggestions... mostly mine, because he is stuck on one name and is not willing to let it go.

South Saturn Delta - not sure if this one is lawsuit liable
Swine Flu

Anyways, looking for an outside opinion. Can you guys list these from best to worst? And if you think they all suck, don't be afraid to say so. Much appreciated.

SSD is obviously amazing, but as an avid Hendrix worshipper AND a Law student, I'd strongly advise against this. Swine Flu is just terrible. What kinda music d'you play, psych?

The type of music we do is bluesy rock with a slight psychedelic tinge. At the moment it's just me and a drummer, so we kind of sound like a Black Keys rip off band.

Honestly... none of them are very good. If I were you, I'd do the Cameron/Andrew Stockdale method! Listen to a bunch of old psych bands and albums, and use a line from a song as the band name.

I'm starting a side project to do some Tame-esque stuff called Rainbow Feel. It's a line from Swlabr by Cream.

"She's go that Rainbow Feel...
But the rainbow has a beard!

Psuedo Psych sounds a bit like that band Pseudo Echo, they did Funky Town.

Personally I like South Saturn Delta, it implies both Space and Blues. If there is a lawsuit they'll only slap you with a Cease & Desist, that should be the time for a new band name.

You've gotta remember man that it takes a whole lotta work to make it to the big time and in turn catch the attention of the legally minded.

Look at the Racontuers... There's a band in Queensland that goes by the same name however neither have faced repercussions and even on the Hendrix front... how many shitty bands have you seen "The *blah blah* Experience".

There is also a band called Funeral for a Friend (a reference to an Elton John song), and they haven't had a lawsuit or something like that yet. So I would go for South Saturn Delta.

I agree with thundergod. I think South Saturn Delta is a really great name, if I was in a bluesy band and you weren't using it, I would use it. Radioheads name is from a talking heads song. And I didn't think any of the other ones were very good.
